Cróna enjoys an active lifestyle and is a regular gym-goer. She's also a huge fan of Pilates and traveling - when she's not teaching primary school children for most of the year. Cróna has worked hard at managing her asthma and is thankful for her lifestyle.

Cróna is an asthma advocate for the Asthma Society of Ireland. Her role is to raise awareness about the condition by sharing her experiences with others, and she treasures the position. Since joining the society, Cróna has appeared in several radio interviews on Ireland AM. In 2019, she made a public radio announcement about "Asthma Awareness Week."
