Sarah Foster is very active in the online Huntington's disease community. She has contributed to anthologies and published her own collection of blog entries about living with Huntington's disease. On the heels of the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, Sarah started the HD Pie in the Face Challenge. It did not go viral, but it raised awareness globally on a smaller scale.

In her blog, Sarah writes about her experience of living with Huntington's disease. She has a patient and loving husband, Randy, four sons in their twenties, and one teenage son who lives at home.
